The Tour Funds the Murals (Video)

I have my local public art tour set up through a DIY tour site (set up a tour in your city) called Vayable.com. They just moved offices a block away from CELLspace and the murals that I try to maintain and curate. Hard to maintain and curate with no budget, but I make it happen via profits form the tour and an amazing group of volunteer artists, builders, and neighbors.

I walked June from Vayable through CELLspace last week and gave her a tour. She made a short video of the visit.

Hi,

The Guillaume Daeppen Gallery at Bâle organizes the second solo show of Stéphane Moscato - STF after the success he met in 2010. The audience and the collectors will be able to discover brand new pieces by the artist gathering canvases and also artworks on books covers.

The Marseille based artist Stéphane Moscato uses the stencil technique in all its duality, shadows and lights, front and back. He works with the spray and the advertising image by peeling posters on the street to paste then on canvas. This process, combined with his obsession with the mechanics of body gives a aesthetics acid result that contrasts with the routine of daily art. This artist influenced by both punk-rock imagery, illustration like Blanquet and other collegues, and by urban art and stencil art provides some multiple meanings.
