White Walls had a show opening for the Blek and Above exhibit on Saturday. Got to meet Blek, share an old 1986 French book titled "Pochoir a la Une" which he enjoyed seeing. He was busy the whole week hanging the show so really didn't get out into the streets much. Hopefully that will not be the case the next time he comes back to the City. As for Above, he was not at the show on Sat. when I was there. White Walls director Justin said that he might show up. Would've been nice to meet him after seeing his work begin here in SF around 2002. Above gave away a screen-printed/autographed folder with a screen-printed flyer inside. I saw a guy at the door turn a box over while holding one of the take aways, so I happened to get the last one! Haven't seen any arrows hanging around the City either......
Blek and Above's art wil hang on White Walls until early June.
